The online community supports IMARK contributors and learners by providing a virtual space to:
- exchange ideas and engage in electronic discussions about specific topics and areas of interest;
- request help from each other in the language of their choice;
- work together to make plans, brainstorm and hold meetings;
- upload and share documents, links to other web resources, contacts, news and events; and
- access archived discussions.
The online community will continuously expand the pool of participating
practitioners and experts available to respond to inquiries and provide
support to new learners. Organizations and experts participating in the
online community will be able to create new partnerships and associations
to expand their activities and reach a wider audience. |

What is Dgroups
Dgroups (www.dgroups.org)
is an online home for groups and communities interested in international
development. Dgroups provides a starting point for fostering groups
and communities in international development. FAO is a Dgroups member.
Dgroups is operated as a partnership, and current partners include
Bellanet, ICA, IICD, OneWorld, UNAIDS,
DFID. Bellanet currently hosts Dgroups on behalf of the partnership.
Bellanet is an international initiative hosted by the International
Development Research Centre (IDRC) at its head office in Ottawa,
Canada.
